LÜHIÜLEVAADE: Lõputöö taustauuringus selgitatakse, miks on Eestis naispühakuid ehetel vähe kujutatud ja milline mõju oli reformatsioonil visuaalsele maailmale. Praktilise osa raames on valminud hõbedast pietàga paater-ripatsid, mille kujundamisel lähtutud sümboltähendustest ja kaitsemaagiast. Töö osaks on erinevate vitsatraatide ja ripatsi serva kupulöömise rütmide uurimine ning katsetamine. Ilmnes, et variatiivsust on vanade meistrite loomingus märgatavalt rohkem kui esmapilgul eeldatud.

[Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”168″ gal_title=”Eesi Rosenberg”]SUMMARY: The thesis of heritage technology of metal work states the theoretical background and inspiration for the creation of eight Pater Pendants with Pietà. The pendants obtained different layers of meaning with used spells and symbols which are coherent with the religious beliefs of ancient Estonians. Some of the pendants were traditionally engraved but on others unorthodox techniques like enamelling and etching were used. The experiments with decorative wires and small domes, which are the classical details of such pendants, resulted in discovery that broadens the understanding of the work of old masters.
